IOWA . . . . . *=PRIVATE SOURCES DTN COMMENTS: The country is slow to start this morning following a moderate trade seen yesterday in the South, and a light trade in the North. Southern live trade was at 133.00-134.00, mostly 134.00 roughly $3.50-$4.00 lower than last week. The full range of Northern dressed trade was 210.00- 213.00, mostly 213.00, $8.00 lower than last week's weighted average basis Nebraska. Asking prices on cattle left on showlists are around 135.00 in the South, and 215.00 plus in the North. It sounds like business could be essentially done for the week in Kansas and Texas, but we will see more trade in Nebraska. Beef cutouts are expected to be lower with light to moderate box movement.
