We have heard that Nebraska's weekly cash volume could exceed 25,000 head thanks to overnight additions. It is possible that significant trade volume could essentially be done for the week. Southern live trade was at 133.00-134.00, mostly 134.00 roughly $3.50- $4.00 lower than last week. The full range of Northern dressed trade was 210.00-213.00, mostly 213.00, $8.00 lower than last week's weighted average basis Nebraska. Asking prices on cattle left on showlists are around 135.00 in the South, and 215.00 plus in the North. Beef cutouts are expected to be lower with light to moderate box movement. NOTE: Feedlots are encouraged to call DTN with any cattle sales, at 1-800-369-7675, 1-402-399-6402, or 1-402-462-8897. All sales will be listed anonymously and organized by state. General trends and summaries from this data will be posted on the Daily Sales Reported to DTN page.
