Arkansas Commodity Board to Host Producer Conference in Jonesboro and Stuttgart Event will focus on production and market opportunities in the 2018 growing season

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. [Jan. 30, 2018] – Ahead of the 2018 growing season, The Arkansas Soybean Promotion Board and the Arkansas Corn & Grain Sorghum Board will host the 2018 Corn, Grain Sorghum and Soybean Producer Conference in two locations: Tuesday, February 6 at the Rice Research Center in Stuttgart and Wednesday, February 7 at the Cooper Alumni Center in Jonesboro.

This year’s conference will feature talks from industry experts who will cover marketing opportunities, tips for managing farm data, land value trends and a grower panel discussion led by Dr. Grover Shannon. Breakfast and lunch will be provided, and lunch will feature guest speaker Gar Lile with Lile Real Estate.

Registration for both events begins at 8 a.m. Each will start at 8:30 a.m. and conclude at 2:00 p.m. The conference is free and open to Arkansas producers and others interested in Arkansas’s agriculture industry.
