Arkansas certified soybean seed is a product of cooperative research funded by the Arkansas Soybean Checkoff Program, grants from agricultural industries and your tax dollars. New varieties are developed and foundation seed is produced by the University of Arkansas. The Arkansas State Plant Board ensures that certification standards are maintained. This cooperative effort ensures an affordable supply of high-quality seed and higher profit potential for soybean farmers.
