Barbecue Meatballs

BBQ Meatballs


1 cup soy crumbles (TSP)
1/2 cup breadcrumbs
1/4 cup finely chopped onion
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tsp dried oregano
1 tsp dried basil
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/2 cup barbecue sauce
1 tbsp olive oil


1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
2. In a large bowl, combine soy crumbles, breadcrumbs, onion, garlic, soy sauce, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper.
3. Shape the mixture into meatballs of desired size and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
4. Drizzle the olive oil over the meatballs and bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown.
5. Once the meatballs are cooked, transfer them to a large skillet or saucepan.
6. Pour the barbecue sauce over the meatballs and gently toss to coat them evenly.
7. Heat the meatballs and barbecue sauce over medium heat until warmed through, stirring occasionally.
8. Serve the BBQ soy meatballs as a delicious appetizer or main dish, garnished with chopped parsley or green onions if desired.
