Chafing Dish Meatballs
Ingredients:
• 8 ounces frozen soy crumbles
• 8 ounces ground beef
•2/3 cup dry breadcrumbs
• ½ cup minced onion
• ¼ cup plain soymilk
• 1 egg
• 1 teaspoon salt
• ½ teaspoon pepper
• 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
• ¼ cup soybean oil
• 1 bottle (12 ounces) chili sauce
• 1 jar (10 ounces) grape jelly
Steps:
1.. Mix the first 9 ingredients together.
2. Gently shape into 1-inch balls.
3, Pour oil into a large skillet and heat until hot.
4. Add meatballs and brown on all sides.
5. Remove meatballs from the skillet.
6. Heat chili sauce and jelly in the skillet, stirring constantly until the jelly is melted.
7. Add meatballs back to the skillet and stir until coated.
8. Simmer for 20–30 minutes.
9. Transfer to a chafing dish and serve hot.
