Governor Beebe Proclaims November as Arkansas Soybean Month

Governor Beebe proclaimed November as Arkansas Soybean Month in the Governor’s Conference Room at the Arkansas State Capitol on Monday, November 4.

During Arkansas Soybean Month, the Arkansas Soybean Promotion Board encourages all Arkansans to support soybean farmers by using soy-based products, learning more about our soybean industry and having conversation about the $2 billion a year industry. Soybeans and products made from soy are used in so many different ways, such as foam for automotive seats, tires, insulation, building supplies as well as everyday items such as candles, cleaning products, paint and cosmetics.
