Jack Freeman embraces the challenge that every day on the farm brings. As a fourth-generation row crop farmer in Dumas, Arkansas, no two days look the same. One day he may be repairing equipment in the shop, the next he may be in the field with his crew, and the next he may spend hours in the office using technology and data to improve the farm's performance. What he enjoys most is finding modern solutions to everyday challenges while helping move the family operation forward.

Jack grew up on the farm, where riding dirt bikes, building treehouses, and driving trucks naturally blended into learning the business of agriculture. By watching his father and grandfather, he developed an appreciation for the hard work, dedication, and stewardship required to operate a successful farm. Still, he wasn't always certain he would make farming his career.

Following in the footsteps of his father and his grandfather, Jack attended the University of Arkansas to study agricultural business. There, he developed practical skills in areas such as electrical systems for grain bins and mechanics while gaining a broader understanding of farm management and business operations. The experience expanded his perspective beyond hands-on farming and reinforced the importance of strategic planning, financial management, and technology.

After returning to the family farm, Jack began working alongside his father, who mentored him in the management side of the operation and gradually entrusted him with greater leadership responsibilities. Today, he spends more than half of his time in the office managing business operations — tracking fertilizer, fuel, and chemical usage, analyzing data, and using those insights to make informed decisions that improve efficiency across the farm. He also works on equipment and alongside the rest of the farm team to help keep daily operations running smoothly.

Looking ahead, Jack remains focused on implementing the best farming practices, increasing efficiency, maximizing yields, and generating the strongest possible return on investment. Just as importantly, he hopes to continue the family legacy for generations to come.
