Michelle Bufkin Horton Executive Vice President | Arkansas Cattlemen's Association
Growing up with a strong connection to agriculture, Michelle Bufkin Horton has built her career around advocating for cattle producers and strengthening Arkansas’s largest agricultural sector.
As Executive Vice President of the Arkansas Cattlemen’s Association, Michelle leads the organization’s daily operations and works closely with producers, affiliates and policymakers to ensure their voices are heard. From overseeing major events like the State Convention & Trade Show to editing Arkansas Cattle Business magazine, her work reflects the association’s mission to serve and advocate through legislation, education, advocacy and development.
For Michelle, the most rewarding part of her career is getting out of the office and meeting producers face-to-face. That connection fuels her commitment to building relationships and advancing the future of Arkansas cattle.
“It's the people who make this industry what it is,” Horton said. “Every conversation reminds me why the work we do matters.”
Through her leadership, Michelle ensures the Arkansas Cattlemen’s Association remains a trusted voice and a driving force for producers across the state.
